Braves to host optional pre-season workout for teams on Saturday, September 4 at James River HS
Richmond Braves fall teams will participate in a voluntary workout on Saturday, September 4 at James River High School at 3700 James River Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113. Practice times have been staggered to accomodate the various age divisions. Here is the schedule. Attendance is optional.
9:30 am: 14U Red, 15U Red and 15U Blue
11:30 am: 16U Red, 16U Blue and 17U Red
1:30 pm: 17U White and 18U Red
First installment of fall player fee is due on Sept. 4. Mary Ann, our accounts receivable manager, will be at JRHS from 10-2 to accept checks and credit/debit payments.

Opening weekend of the fall 2010 season kicks-off
Richmond Braves fall teams hit the road for the first full weekend of fall ball. Here is a rundown of each team's destination along with information on game schedules, hotels and other important information.
18U Red Team
Coach Moore and his 18U Red team will be heading for the Queen City - Charlotte, NC for Impact Baseball's UNC-Charlotte Showcase. The complete game schedule is posted here on the Impact Baseball website. IMPORTANT!! The schedule lists the two participating Braves teams as National and American. The 18U Red team will follow the National team schedule. Here is the schedule:

14U Red Team
Coach Stadler and the 14U Red team will be in action at the Virginia Sports Complex in Ruther Glen at the Triple Crown Fall Ball Invitational. The game schedule will posted at TripleCrownSports.com on Tuesday, Sept 7. Please note that this is a change for earlier schedule that indicated a trip to North Carolina. Due to travel considertions (5-8 hour travel time), the event was replaced on the schedule with the Triple Crown Fall Ball Invitational.

15U Blue Team
Coach Francis and the 15U Blue team will be off to Greensboro, NC for the USSSA Beast Down East. Details and the schedule when it becomes available can be found here.
14U Red Team
Coach Stadler and the 14U Red team are back at VSC in Ruther Glen for the sold out Nations Baseball September Slam. The game schedule will be posted here about three days prior to the event.
